With the release of the new 2022 Corvette Stingray to the Australian market, it is becoming one of the more popular sports cars of choice in its price bracket. Keeping such an investment looking as good as the day you picked it up, is for many, of up most importance. This Stingrays owner had plans of taking it to the track, as well as some occasional spirited driving. This comes with the risks of stone chips, scuffs and abrasions from debris floating around a circuit and backroads.

This 2022 Stingray came into our Leichhardt studio for an XPEL Track Pack as well as a full GYEON protection package, this includes wheel coating, interior coating, and a full exterior ceramic coating.

What is an XPEL Track Pack? An XPEL Track Package offers XPEL Ultimate PPF in the most heavily impacted areas of the car such as the front bumper, bonnet, guards, mirrors, side skirts and rear bar. Due to XPELS optically invisible nature, it is impossible to tell that these areas have been wrapped against the doors, roof, and other unprotected areas.

One of the biggest benefits of the XPEL Paint Protection Film is its self-healing properties. XPEL understands that the car is going to be driven and that stone chips and other abrasions are inevitable, but in almost all cases, this doesn’t require the film to be changed, it simply heals over the damage when heat is applied, retaining its perfect, high gloss finish.

Once XPEL PPF was applied, a GYEON Infinite ceramic coating was applied to all panels of the car, including those covered with XPEL. GYEON Infinite ceramic coatings offer extreme gloss and hydrophobicity, making the deep blue on the Corvette pop. GYEON ceramic coatings make maintaining the day one look easy, with an infinite warranty and their intense durability to the Australian sun and contamination means that a simple interval wash is all that’s ever needed.

Finally, a GYEON Ceramic Coating was applied to the wheels of the car, designed to repel brake dust and contamination, eliminating the risk of the harmful debris embedding itself into the wheels. Following this, a full interior protection package was undergone, including a ceramic leather coating, and fabric coating, creating an invisible layer between spills, stains, and the surfaces.
