The Porsche GT3 is the ultimate street and track weapon that not only looks the part but is arguably one of the best drivers’ cars on the market.
This particular 911 GT3 recently came into our Leichardt studio to have an XPEL Paint Protection Film Ultimate Drivers Pack professionally installed to the highest impact areas of the car. The Drivers pack covers the parts of the car that will often see the biggest risk of stone chips, abrasion and scuffing from debris whilst on the road and the track. As well as the XPEL PPF, we applied a GYEON Ceramic Coating to both the PPF and the remainder of the painted surfaces to keep them protected and glossy for years to come.
Before applying the PPF and Ceramic coating, the car underwent a minor paint correction to remove some light marks and swirls that may not even be visible to the average eye, but under professional lighting or full sunlight detracts from the appearance. Paint Correction ensures the paint is in perfect condition before the ceramic coating locks in that finish.
The XPEL Drivers package is one of the most popular choices for cars like the GT3 as they typically see more track time and spirited road driving than the average car. The drivers package includes full coverage of the front bumper, bonnet, front guards, mirrors, lower sills, and lower rear quarter panel – all the areas that attract road rash, stone chips and are low to the ground or forward facing.
Once the XPEL PPF was applied, this Porsche 911 was prepped and coated in Gyeon Flash EVO. GYOEN Flash EVO is part of GYEON’s new EVO Ceramic Coating range that boasts longer-lasting durability and a deeper gloss than ever before. With great self-cleaning & hydrophobic properties, it will make ongoing washing and drying extremely easy, and with no extra waxing or polishing required. A ceramic coating will also add an extra layer of protection onto the Porsche GT3’s paint, protecting it from fallout and debris such as hot rubber and tar from the track or road and potentially marring the paint.
